All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 3 Jan 2005 Woodward, Ruth Adline INDIAHOMA -- Funeral for Ruth Adline Woodward, 87, Indiahoma, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Indiahoma Church of Christ with Duard and Kirk Givens officiating. Mrs. Woodward died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005, at a Frederick hospital. Burial will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder, under direction of Jackson Funeral Home, Frederick. She was born June 24, 1917, in the Deep Red community southeast of Snyder to John Pleasant and Lucy Frances Bailey Thorp. She attended school in the Deep Red community. She married J. B. Woodward on April 5, 1941, in Lawton. He died Oct. 24, 1998. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law: Jay B. and Tywla Woodward and Johnny Hugh and Carrie Woodward, all of Indiahoma; six grandchildren and their spouses: Randy and Sheryl Woodward, Lawton; Dustin Hugh Brown, Afton; Jaymie Woodward and Brent Landreth, Forth Worth, Texas; Brandi McKinney, Manitou; Jason and Jennifer Woodward, Georgia; Jeremy and Kelly Woodward, Wichita Falls, Texas; seven great-grandchildren: Dalton and Whitney McKinney, Jack and Jacob Woodward, Mandi and Shayla Woodward and Reese Landreth. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers: Ed, Tommy, Billy, Otho and an infant brother; five sisters: Zella Evans, Elsie Hale, Jennie Schuls and two infant sisters.
