Walchak Funeral for Johanna E. Walchak, 64, Lawton, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Cliff Gravitt, pastor, Northside Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Walchak died Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, at a local hospital. Burial will be at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. She was born Sept. 13, 1938, in Munich, Germany. She was a member of the American Legion 40/8 and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Survivors include a son, Michael Paris, Oklahoma City; a brother, Paulie Furstner, Munich; a sister, Carolyn Conners, Florida; a grandson, Benjamine Paris, White Salmon, Wash.; and her former husband, Clyde Helsel, Lawton. She was preceded in death by Billie J. Paris and Raymond P. Walchak.
