Miss Walker died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, at a local care center. ========= Lawton Constitution 8 Jul 2005 Estella Walker Graveside service for Estella Walker, 92, Lawton, will be at 10:30 a.m. today in Waughtown Cemetery, Winston-Salem, N.C., with the Rev. Joe McWethy officiating. Miss Walker died Tuesday, July 5, 2005, in Lawton. Local arrangements are by Becker Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 18, 1912, in Montgomery, Ala., to James and Virginia Hannah Walker. She attended school in Atlanta. She spent most of her life in Winston-Salem until the last 10 years. She moved to Lawton in 1995 to live with friends. Her father died when she was a baby and she traveled to North Carolina with her mother. She retired from Arista Mills and Pierce Diaper Services in Winston-Salem. Survivors include friends: Dorothy "Dotty" Holcomb and her family, Danny, Connie, Melissa and Kent; and the Rev. and Mrs. Ferrell and church friends at Waughtown Baptist Church in Winston-Salem. She was preceded in death by her parents. Memorial contributions may be made to Waughtown Baptist Church, 1538 Waughtown Street, Winston-Salem, N.C. 27101, or to Hospice of Lawton Area, P.O.
