Lawton Constitution 19 Nov 2003 Melvin Wiley Waldron Graveside service for Melvin Wiley Waldron, 88, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Flower Mound Cemetery with the Rev. Don Middleton, pastor, Southside Assembly of God, officiating. Mr. Waldron died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003 at his home. He was born April 25, 1915, in Texas, to John Robert and Josephine Kirkendall Waldron. He married Ann Nelson on June 10, 1983, in Lawton. He retired from Halliburton after 17 years. He then worked as a mechanic for Lawton Transit, and retired after 11 years. Survivors include his wife, of the home; three grandsons: Bert Wiley Wiens and his wife, Sandra, Lahoma; Michael W. Wiens and his wife, Lea, Fort Worth, Texas; and Lee G. Wiens and his wife, Debra, Sterling; eight great- grandchildren: Melissa and Sarah Wiens, Daniel Wiens and his wife, Stephanie, David and Dallas Wiens, Marianne Byam, Christopher Holley and Donovan Wiens; two great-great-granddaughters: Tori and Cici Wiens; two stepdaughters: Anita Deason and her husband, Lyle, Stanton, Calif.; and Sharon Hall and her husband, Fred, Delevan, Wis.; a stepgranddaughter, Lisa Ann Deason, Stanton, Calif.; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Elnora Johnson; three sisters; and two brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, PO Box 53303, Oklahoma City 73152.
