All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution April 24, 2002 Eva Junia Williams 24 Nov 1912 - 23 Apr 2002 Fletcher Cemetery FLETCHER — Funeral for Eva Junia Williams, 89, Fletcher, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Robbins Funeral Home Chapel with A.L. Swagerty, interim pastor of Eakley Baptist Church, officiating. Mrs. Williams died Tuesday, April 23, 2002, at a Chickasha care center. Burial will be at Fletcher Cemetery. She was born Nov. 24, 1912, east of Lawton to Newt and Fannie Ritter Suttles. She grew up and attended school in the Marlow area. She married Roy E. Williams on Aug. 16, 1928, in Lawton. He died March 2, 1986. They came to the Sterling area in 1939, where they farmed until Roy’s death. Survivors include a daughter, Oreene Jackson, Blanchard; three sons: Roy Kenneth Williams, Lawton; Johnny Williams, Davis; and Bob E. Williams, Del Rio, Texas; 19 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great- great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Mayme Kaufman and Lola Bradley; and a brother, Earl Suttles.
