Williams, 24, of Shawnee died Tuesday, Aug. 5, in Shawnee. Viewing will begin this morning at the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Building, Harrah- Newalla Road and State Highway 9. A wake will be at 7 p.m. today at the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Building. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Absentee Shawnee Tribal Building with Danny Faulkner officiating. Burial will be at Williams Family Cemetery. Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh is handling arrangements. Mr. Williams was born Dec. 28, 1978, in Lawton, to Harold and Carolyn (Johnson) Williams Sr. He attended school in Denver and New Lima. He was raised in Wewoka, Shawnee and Denver. He had lived in Shawnee since 2000. He was a roofer for Coates Roofing in Shawnee. He also worked in carpentry. He was a member of the Absentee Shawnee and Seminole Tribes. He enjoyed taking care of his brother, sisters, nieces and nephews. He enjoyed playing pool and bike riding. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his grandfather, Arthur Williams, and uncle, Barry Williams. Mr. Williams is survived by his mother, Carolyn Williams of Shawnee; Harold Williams Sr. of Wewoka; brother, Kenny “Speedy” Williams of Shawnee; sisters, Dana and husband, Albert Barriga Sr., of Little Axe and Ronalda Williams of Shawnee; grandparents, Sam and Lucille Johnson of Wewoka and Patricia Williams of Shawnee; nieces and nephews, Elias, Caleb, Joshua and Summer Barriga, Albert Barriga Jr. and Courageous Williams; and many other family members and friends. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Comanche County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/comanche/comanche.html
