All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 24 Jan 2003 Williams, Lonnie Ray LIBERTY, Texas - Graveside service for Lonnie Ray Williams, 74, Liberty, Texas, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Denton Cemetery, east of Lawton, with the Rev. Randy Shorter, pastor, Bethel Assembly of God, officiating. Mr. Williams died Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, in Liberty, Texas. Arrangements are by Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home. Mr. Williams was born Feb. 12, 1928, in Elk City to O.O. and Gertrude Henson Williams. He grew up and attended school in Pampa, Texas, and moved to Liberty in 1972. He married Eva Faye Boggs on Oct. 19, 1954, in Tucumcari, N.M. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, where he served as a paratrooper. He was an engineer in the petroleum oil business. Survivors include his wife, of the home; two sons and daughters-in-law: Dr. Steve and Maria Williams, Tucson, Ariz.; and Mark and Melanie Williams, Batson, Texas; a daughter, Nancy Williams, Tulsa; two brothers and sisters-in-law: Ken and Joyce Williams, Tulsa; and Jack and Rowena Williams, Albuquerque, N.M.; and a granddaughter, Brittany Williams.
