Fred Leslie Young

BORGER - Fred Leslie Young, 86, died Friday, July 19, 2002, in 
Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 9:30 a.m. today at Westlawn Memorial 
Park, with the Rev. Blake Westbrook, pastor of Lake Meredith Baptist 
Church in Fritch, officiating. Burial will be in the "Field of 
Honor" at Westlawn Memorial Park by Minton/Chatwell Funeral 
Directors of Borger.

Mr. Young was born Sept. 24, 1915, in Indiahoma, Okla. He was a 
carpenter.

Survivors include one daughter, Carolyn Hemby of Kennesaw, Ga.; two 
sisters Opal Nicholson of Borger and Maxine Brown of Wichita Falls; 
and four grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to the Opportunity Center in Borger 
or Lake Meredith Baptist Church in Fritch.
