Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Llano Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Polk Street United Methodist Church with Dr. Jim Garrett of the church and the Rev. Howard F.M. Childers of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating. Arrangements by Schooler Funeral Home Inc., 4100 S. Georgia St. Mrs. Bowen was born in Amarillo. She graduated from Amarillo High School and attended Stephens College in Columbia, Mo., and Amarillo College. She lived in Temple, Okla., and Dumas before returning to Amarillo in 1937. She married C.R. "Bob" Bowen in 1950. Mrs. Bowen was a homemaker. She was active in the PTA and Beta Sigma Phi. She was member of Polk Street United Methodist Church for more than 50 years and taught a Sunday school class for children and was active in the Co-Workers Class and the Marys and Marthas Class. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Janis Reid and Ann Palmer, both of Amarillo; and five grandchildren. The family will be at 303 Partridge Drive.
