All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Temple Cemetery--Temple OK Duncan Banner 20 Aug 2002 Fannie Oveda Parkey Burke Fannie Oveda Parkey Burke was born the ninth of 11 children to J.R. and Matilda Wright Parkey of Temple on April 4, 1922. She passed away in her sleep on Monday, Aug. 12, 2002, in Nashville, Tenn. Service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the First Baptist Church in Temple. She will be buried beside her parents. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.H. Burke. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Yoder and her husband, Paul, of Nashville; her son, Durand Wagner and his wife, Renee, of Nashville. She is also survived by a grandson, Matthew Dodd and his wife, Beth, of Agana, Guam; and three granddaughters, Hope Baccus and her husband, David, of Portland, Tenn., Amanda Wagner and Lindsay Wagner of Woodbury, Tenn.; a great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Baccus, who was her pride and joy. Her two surviving sisters, Sue Clingman of Temple and Aurelia Carman and her husband, Ed, of Duncan will miss her dearly. Oveda was a nurse for many years and those for whom she cared for will never forget her radiant smile and tender loving care.
