Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Thursday in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 18, 1906, in Temple, Okla. She lived in Abilene until 1927 before moving to Fort Worth, and then to Watauga in 1948. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Watauga. Viola was preceded in death by husband, Henry H Britt; parents, Isaac and Sarah Taylor; son, Houston Collins; grandchildren, Jerry and Patricia Shults; and brother, Alvin Taylor. Survivors: Sons, Richard Britt and wife, Lana, and Joe H. Britt and wife, Sue; daughter, Doris Tatum and husband, Perry; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren.
