All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== :Grandfield Cemetery--Grandfield OK Lawton Constitution 3 May 2004 Minnie Geneva Clark GRANDFIELD — Funeral for Minnie Geneva Clark, 86, Grandfield, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Grandfield First Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Burch officiating. Mrs. Clark died Saturday, May 1, 2004, in Grandfield. Burial will be at Grandfield Cemetery under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters. She was born Dec. 9, 1917, in Spaulding to John Newt and Faye Mary Mayfield Caldwell. She grew up in Devol. She married George W. Clark on Feb. 20, 1936, in Walters. They made their home in the Devol area before moving to California, where they worked during World War II. In the mid- 1940s, they bought a farm northeast of Grandfield and lived there until moving to town in 1979. She was a member of First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, of the home; four sons: Howell Clark, Rhome, Texas; Coy Clark, Raeford, N.C.; Newt Clark, Henderson, Nev.; and Randy Clark, Grandfield; two daughters: Anita Faye Newby, Randlett; and Eva JoAnn Wade, Devol; 12 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the church in Grandfield.
