Jean Douglas

PAMPA - Jean Douglas, 79, died Sunday, Nov. 29, 1998.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Carmichael-Whatley Funeral 
Directors Colonial Chapel with Glen Walton of the High Plains Children's 
Home of Amarillo officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:30 p.m. 
Wednesday in Shamrock Cemetery in Shamrock.

Mrs. Douglas was born in Hulen, Okla. In 1979, she moved to Pampa from 
Shamrock. She was a member of Mary Ellen and Harvester Church of Christ.

She married James Douglas in 1939 at Farmersville. He died in 1985.

Survivors include two daughters, Alice Ann Bradshaw of Denton and Linda 
Thompson of Pampa; a sister, Gwen Foshee of Sunray; four grandchildren; 
and three great-grandchildren.
