All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 8 Sep 2005 Myrtle Dunbar WALTERS -- Graveside service for Myrtle Dunbar, 93, Walters, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Walters Cemetery with the Rev. J.R. Taylor officiating. Mrs. Dunbar died Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2005, in Lawton. Arrangements are by Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home. She was born Feb. 23, 1912, at Sherman, Texas, to George W. and Nora Davis Brownlee. She grew up in Alvord, Texas, and eventually moved to Oklahoma with family, settling in the Walters area. She married Harold Dunbar in 1935 at Walters. He died in 1970. In 1971, she married Floyd Dunbar at Lawton and he died in 2002. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Earnest and Betty Dunbar, Walters; a brother, J.W. Brownlee, Cheyenne, Wyo.; three sisters: Elizabeth Landrum, Lawton; Ruby Salmon, Tucson, Ariz.; and Emma Lopez, Frederick; three grandchildren: Terry Dunbar, Cindy Hayes and Suson Walker; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
