All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 11 Dec 2003 Dan Scott Fox OKLAHOMA CITY — Graveside service for former Cookietown resident Dan Scott Fox, 88, Oklahoma City, will be at 1 p.m. today at Walters Cemetery, Walters with the Rev. Arbuary Ritter officiating. Mr. Fox died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, in Oklahoma City. Arrangements are by Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters. He was born Oct. 26, 1915, in Devol, to J.K.L. and Norma M. Wilbanks Fox. He grew up in the Cookietown area. After graduating from high school, he joined the Army and served in World War II. He married Maxine Gill after returning from the service, and they made their home in Oklahoma City. She died in 1973. He married Katherine Goff in 1976, and she died in January 2003. He retired from FAA after 31 years of service. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oklahoma City. Survivors include two daughters: Arniren Gibson, Oklahoma City; and Nena Goddard and her husband, Joe, Guthrie; five grandchildren: Kristi Hircel and husband, Scott, and Brad Tobin and wife, Holly, all of Guthrie; Vickie Achord and husband, Rusty, England; Lynett Gibson, San Antonio; and Kevin Gibson, Colorado; 10 great-grandchildren; and many stepgreat- grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Cotton County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/cotton/cotton.htm
