All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Walters Cemetery--Walters OK Lawton Constituion 12 Aug 2003 Ann Fletcher WALTERS - Funeral for Ann Fletcher, 89, Walters, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Walters First Baptist Church with Tony Nickel officiating. Mrs. Fletcher died Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, in Walters. Burial will be at Walters Cemetery under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters. She was born Dec. 7, 1913, in Petrolia, Texas, to Land Franklin and Mary Mariah Grubb Murrell. The family moved to Temple, when she was 3, and she attended Temple Schools. She graduated in 1931. She married Raymond Fletcher on Oct. 29, 1932, and he died in 1994. They made their home south of Walters in 1943 where she lived until her death. She worked for the Soil Conservation Service office from 1952 to January 1976, then retired. After her retirement, she and her husband spent their winters in South Texas. She was a member of Walters First Baptist Church. Survivors include three children and their spouses: Jim and Delores Fletcher, Dorris and Phil Norman and Joann Fletcher, all of Walters; seven grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven stepgreat-grandchildren; 12 nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Cotton County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/cotton/cotton.htm
