She died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, in Lawton. ========= Lawton Constitution 4 Nov 2004 Lillie M. Gamblin Funeral for Lillie M. Gamblin, 83, Lawton, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, with the Rev. Herschel Lindsey officiating. Mrs. Gamblin died Monday, Nov. 1, 2004, in Lawton. Burial will be at Letitia Cemetery, east of Lawton. She was born April 6, 1921, in Comanche County and grew up in the Lawton area. She married Marion C. Gamblin on Oct. 21, 1939, near Hulen. He died in 1997. They made their home in Comanche and Cotton counties. They moved from Walters to her home south of Lawton 16 years ago. She worked in civil service as a dietitian at the Fort Sill hospital for 16¢ years. She was a member of Letitia Baptist Church. Survivors include five sons: Clifford, Lawton; Harold, Royse City, Texas; Earl, Clay, Ky.; Jack, South Korea; and Kenneth, Geronimo; a brother, George Lewis, San Bernardino, Calif.; a sister, Florabell Leonard, Hinton; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
