All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm +========================================================================+ Lawton Constitution 14 May 2003 Billie Rhue Hopper TEMPLE — Graveside service for Billie Rhue Hopper, 82, Temple, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Grandfield Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Bob Burch, pastor, Grandfield First Baptist Church officiating. Mrs. Hopper died Sunday, May 11, 2003, in Waurika. Arrangements are by Gray Funeral Home, Grandfield. She was born Nov. 18, 1920, in Grandfield to Sterling S. and Iva Louise Landrum Roddy. She attended Grandfield Public Schools and moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, after her graduation. She was employed by First National Bank in Wichita Falls and retired in 1975. She married Orville G. Hopper on Aug. 31, 1968, in Henrietta, Texas. She was a Baptist and a member of the Eastern Star. Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, C.R. Nunn, Wichita Falls; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
