Hancock, age 96, of Hideaway are scheduled for 10 AM Wednesday in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel in Lindale with Rev. James Ballard officiating. Graveside Services are scheduled for 10 AM Thursday in the Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Oklahoma City with Rev. Steve Seaton officiating. Mrs. Hancock died Feb. 17, 2003 at her residence. She was born December 5, 1906 in Temple, Oklahoma to Judge Carson Christopher & Hester Wilcox Campbell. Mrs. Hancock was a school teacher in Cotton County, Oklahoma and later worked 17 years for Sears Roebuck from which she retired. She was a member of the Cherokee Hills Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher and was a long time member of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Hancock was preceded in death by her parents, a Brother, Roy Campbell, Sisters, Oma Page, Clynna English, & Golda Allen, Husband, Robert Perry Hancock to whom she was married for 62 years; a Daughter-In-Law, Marilyn V. Hancock, a grandson, Robert Steven Hancock. She is survived by a Sister, Pearl Campbell of Midwest City, Oklahoma, a brother, Paul Campbell of Norman, Oklahoma, a Son, Robert S. Hancock of Hideaway, Texas, a Daughter & Son-In-Law, Judy Beth & Gene McCrory of Hideaway, TX, Grandson & Granddaughter-In-Law, Thomas & Vicki Blalock, Grandaughters and Grandsons-In-Law, Melinda & Emil Studinka, Kelly Beth & Kevin Hancock, & Marti Hancock, 8 Great Grandchildren, & Numerous nieces & nephews.
