JONES FUNERAL AT WALTERS. Funeral services for Mrs. Lela Janet JONES, 89, were conducted friday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Bible Baptist Church in Walters, with the Rev. W. W. Baker officiating. Burial in Walters Cemetery was under direction of Wyatt Funeral Home. Mrs. JONES was born April 9, 1886 in Burneyville, Indian Territory. She died in Duncan Wednesday, August 13, 1975. She came to Cotton County in 1903 and in 1941 moved to Walters. For the past two years she was a resident of the Temple Manor Nursing home in Temple. She was married to Clint JONES in Temple Februray 5, 1906. To the union three son's were born. Her husband died April 2, 1950. Her three son's survive her. Mrs. JONES was a mamber of the Bible Baptist Church of Walters. Survivors include her three son's, Haskell and Vernon both of Duncan, and Theodore JONES of Hastings. Also two sisters, Mrs. Velma TUCKER of Lawton and Mrs. Jim GUNTER of Duncan. One brother, Elmer BENSON of Waurika, eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren. --------------------------------------------------------------------
