He was born Dec. 30, 1879 at Salina, Ks. He moved to Oklahoma in 1901. On Feb. 5, 1906 he married Lela BENSON. He is survived by his wife, three son's, Haskell of Duncan, Vernon of Walters, and Theodore of Temple, 7 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services at the First Baptist Church and Burial in the Walters Cementery. Clint JONES was the Son of Dr. and Mrs Jessie JONES. When he was three the family moved to Indian Terr., settling north of Ardmore. With his brother Mitchell he came to Lawton at the opening of the Kiowa - Comanche Territory. His brother drew a claim near Hastings. He lived in the Pleasant Ridge Community until Feb. 5, 1906. They moved to Temple community, engaging in farming until 1942 when they moved to Walters. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were:Mrs. Velma TUCKER and Niece, Mrs. Bill COX and husband of Lawton, Elmer BENSON, Mrs. Bill COOPER and Husband of speerman, Texas, Mrs W.L.
