All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== ::Walters Cemetery--Walters OK Funeral for Earl Lee Johnsey, 94, Geronimo, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel in Walters, with Don Crow and Billy Fred Crow, officiating Mr. Johnsey died Friday, Oct. 20, 2006, in Lawton. Burial will be at Walters Cemetery, under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home. He was born Jan. 24, 1912, in Hickory to John Murray and Dora Elizabeth King Johnsey. He grew up in the Wapanucka area of eastern Oklahoma. He moved to California working in a cannery and then moved to Arizona working at his uncles trading post before coming to the Geronimo area. He married Evie Lena Champion on Dec. 24, 1937, in Fort Cobb. She died in 1988. Survivors include two daughters: Sharon Malone and husband Vonden, Lawton; Janet Wolfe and husband David, Geronimo; a brother, Arthur Johnsey and wife Nettie, Geronimo; five grandchildren their spouses: Phil and Cynthia Malone, and Kim and Lance Smith, all of Lawton; David and Joni Malone, Moore; and Brad and Jami Wolfe and Jeremy Wolfe, all of Geronimo; six great-grandchildren: Amber, Meagan, Jena and Haley Malone, Shelbi and Chance Smith; and many other relatives and friends.
