Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church of Borger with Dr. David Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Devotion of Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors. Mr. Miller was born in Temple, Okla., and had been an area resident since 1934 when he graduated from Canyon High School. He owned and operated Miller Machine and Welding. Mr. Miller was a member of the Isom Lodge No. 1242, the Borger Noon Lions Club, the Masons and First United Methodist Church. He was president of Lions Club and the Lions Club Eye Bank. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lue, in 1991. Survivors include a son, Bill Miller of Houston; two stepsons, John Ratje of Safford, Ariz., and Jim Ratje of Las Cruces, N.M.; a daughter, Janice Miller Hamm of Amarillo; three stepdaughters, Marcia Wolf of Dallas, Jenny Kelly of Dallas and Mary Kay Powell of El Paso; 17 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Return to Cotton County Archives: http://www.usgwarchives.net/ok/cotton/cotton.htm
