All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 30 Mar 2003 Louise Mooney TEMPLE — Graveside service for Louise Mooney, 87, Temple, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Temple Cemetery. Mrs. Mooney died Friday, March 28, 2003, in Temple. Services are under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters. She was born Sept. 22, 1915, to Lester and Martha Etta Ivy Keeter. She grew up in Temple, and Boulder, Colo. After her mother's death, she returned to Temple, where she graduated from Temple High School. She continued her education at Hill's Business College in Oklahoma City. She married Robert Lynn Mooney June 29, 1941, at Mineral Wells, Texas. He died Feb. 8, 1986. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Temple. She worked as secretary to the chief of surgery at Station Hospital at Camp Wolters, Mineral Wells, Texas. She was bookkeeper for Richardson Ford for 10 years and the first director of Temple Senior Citizens Center. She was the first dispatcher for the Temple Police Department.
