Wayne Schoonover, pastor, Liberty Heights Chapel, officiating. Mrs. Murrell died Thursday at her home. Burial will be in the Temple City Cemetery. She was born on October 9, 1919, southwest of Temple, to Jim and Bea (Norseworthy) Ramey. She moved to Walters and attended school until the tenth grade. She then moved to the Gregg Community and later to Temple, where she finished school. She Married R.C. Murrell on July 26, 1938 in Temple. He died October 7, 1992. They soon moved to Baldwin Park, California then later moved to Pasadena, California. They returned to Temple in the 50's. She worked for the B & O Sears store in Temple and the Temple Tribune. She moved to Lawton in 1954 to work for Sears. She retired in 1974. She was a member of the Sears X Club as well as the Mt. Scott Gem and Mineral Society. Survivors include one stepson: Joe B. Murrell and Sophie; Tecumseh, Oklahoma Three grandchildren: Mike, Daniel and Margaret Murrell. 1 great grandchild Several nieces and nephews Special friends: Mary Bailey, Larry and Shirley Coppell. Preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Linda Sue, two brothers Jack and Tommy Ramey.
