All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution 11 Jan 2003 Oxford, Robert TEMPLE — Graveside service for Robert Oxford, 67, Temple, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Temple Cemetery with the Rev. Herschel Lindsey officiating. Mr. Oxford died Thursday, Jan. 9, 2003, in Waurika. Arrangements are by Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Walters. He was born Sept. 1, 1935, in Vinson, to Robert William and Bessie McHam Oxford. He grew up in Altus, and lived in Dallas; Sweetwater, Texas; and Palacios, Texas. He moved to Temple in 1982. He worked as a welder and a carpenter. Survivors include his daughter, Anna Oxford, Wichita, Kan.; a sister, Booth Lee; three grandchildren: Brandy Sparks, Robert Lloyd Oxford and John Edward Oxford, all of Walters; and two great-grandchildren: Bethany Leigh Sparks and Baylor Lane Sparks, both of Walters.
