All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ========================================================================== Lawton Constitution April 21, 2002 Ollie Eve Calfy Rhodes 21 Sep 1912 - 19 Apr 2002 Walters Cemetery WALTERS — Funeral for Ollie Eve Calfy Rhodes, 89, Walters, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Emerson Baptist Church, Walters, with the Rev. Duane Doty officiating. Mrs. Rhodes died Friday, April 19, 2002, in Walters. Burial will be at Walters Cemetery under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home. She was born Sept. 21, 1912, in Walters. She married Walton Jerome Rhodes on Oct. 9, 1936, in Walters. He died July 25, 1963. She worked for Civil Service at Fort Sill for 20 years. She was a member of Emerson Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She also worked as a precinct official for Cotton County elections. Survivors include three daughters: Lorna Rhodes, Walters; Ruth and her husband Bill Seward, Temple; and Janet Pellow, Enid; a son, Jonathan Waynewright Rhodes, Oklahoma City; a sister Zelma Durbin, Walters; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild.
