Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with Dr. Randy Scraper officiating and the Rev. Phil Wahl assisting. Burial will be in Duncan City Cemetery under the direction of Don Grantham Funeral Home. Mrs. Ridley was born March 7, 1915, in Tribbey, to Ran and Lula Norwood. She married Robert Glenn Ridley on June 30, 1940, in Walters. He preceded her in death on April 20, 1997. Mrs. Ridley was a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, a Sunday School teacher for many years and a member of the Couple’s Sunday School Class. She was a former piano accompanist for the Men’s Bible Class at the original First Methodist Church for many years. She was very devoted to her church and her family. She adored her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Tony M. and Tonya Ridley of Edmond; two daughters and sons-in-law, Sharon D. and Ronald Crook of Duncan and Dr. Karen and Randy Carter of Edmond; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Bill and Estaline Ridley; sister-in-law, Ruvay Ridley; five grandchildren, Chase Carter, Justin Crook, Jeff Crook, Allyson Ridley Wright and her husband, Eric, and Melissa Taylor and her husband, Brent; a great- granddaughter, Natalie Wright; cousin, Texas State Representative, Tony Goolsby of Dallas; and several nieces and nephews. Bearers will be Ron Crook, Randy Carter, Billy Don Ridley, Bruce Ridley, Ed Lowe and Reggie Stockton. Honorary bearers are Dr. William Edwards and the Couples Class of First United Methodist Church.
