Sartin rites on Wednesday

Ida M. Hobbs Sartin 1885 - 1969 

Funeral services for Mrs. Ida M. Sartin, 84, who died Monday in 
Oklahoma City, were conducted Wednesday at 2:30 o'clock at the 
Church of Christ in Walters, with Minister Bennie Henson 
officiating. Burial in Walters Cemetery was under the direction of 
Pearsons Funeral Home. Mrs. Sartin was born May 3, 1885, in Cooke 
County, Texas. She was married to Warner Sartin in 1902 and to this 
union seven children were born. Three children died in infancy, and 
her husband died in 1952. She came to Walters in 1929 from Olney, 
Texas. For the past year she made her home in Oklahoma City. She was 
a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Sartin is survived by two 
daughters, Mrs. M.L. Simington of Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Donie 
Blair of Dallas; sons, Henry Sartin of Olney and Wesley Sartin of 
Oklahoma City. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and six great 
grandchildren.
