Williams TEMPLE — Funeral for Lester C. Williams, 78, Temple, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Temple, with Brother Jay Driskill officiating. Mr. Williams died Saturday, May 8, 2004, in Temple. Burial will be at Temple Cemetery under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Temple. He was born to Robert Lee and Lucinda Mae Hendrix Williams. He lived in Tishomingo as a young boy and moved to Temple when he was 3 years old. Through the years he worked many jobs, including washing dishes for a cafe, driving a tractor, pulling cotton and mowing lawns. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Temple. Survivors include two sisters: Laura Smith, Comanche; and Maurine Miller, Lawton; and a special friend, Dee McClain. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: Carl and Doug Williams; and three sisters: Ruby Randall, Eva Wallace; and his twin, Esther E. Williams.
