All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm =========================================================================+ Lawton Constitution September 29, 2003 Wayne Weant TEMPLE — Funeral for Arthur Wayne Weant, 87, Temple, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church, Temple, with the Rev. Byron Ramsey officiating. Mr. Weant died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2003, in Temple. Burial will be at Temple Cemetery, Temple, under direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home, Temple. He was born March 3, 1916, in Temple to Arthur Napoleon "Ott" and Lola Benson Weant. He grew up and lived his entire life in Temple. He married Mildred Onetta Cooper on July 15, 1939, in Temple, and they made their home northeast of town. He farmed until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of Temple First Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a son and daughter-in-law, Arthur "Red" LaWayne Weant and his wife, Vera, Owasso; a daughter, Onetta Spurlock, Temple; six grandchildren: Darla and Matt Neighbors, Autumn Weant, Reuben Weant, Paula Hale, Brad and Andra Spurlock and Tabatha and Brent Baggett; five great-grandchildren: Ryan Neighbors, Tyler Neighbors, Courtney Hale, Alex Spurlock and Ethan Spurlock.
