Morgan e-mail: dmorgan@efn.org ----------------------------------------------------------------- The children of Dr. and Mrs. Don Morgan honored their parents Sunday, May 16 at the Patio Room of First State Bank, Temple, on their 40th wedding anniversary. Children are David of Erick, Donna of Houston, Susan of Oklahoma City and Scott of Temple. Also assisting the children were Leta and George Fyke, sister and brother in law to Mrs. Morgan. Special guests were Cecil and Imogene Park of Wichita Falls, Texas, as they were the Morgan's Best man and Brides Maid. The Morgans reaffirmed their wedding vows before baskets or red carnations flanked by seven branch candelabrum holding blue candles. Reading the vows was Rev. Monty Baggett, pastor of First Baptist Church, where they are members. Serving at the refreshment tables were Mrs. George Fyke, Mrs. J. W. Parker, Mrs. Gary Monroe, and Mrs. Phyllis Jarvis. Out of town guests registered were Mrs. Mae Morgan, Roy Swagger, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Bruner of Erick; Mr. and Mrs. Earl Morgan, Lynn and Alan of Granite; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stevens Jr and Mr and Mrs. John C. Stevens of Frederick; Mr and Mrs. Richard Lamb and Mr. and Mrs. Murl Sturgess of Tipton; Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Parker of Dill City; Miss Abbie Hollis and Mrs. D. D. Barber of Oklahoma City, and many friends from Temple and Walters. (May 16, 1982) They were actually married on May 17, 1942 at Cheyenne, Oklahoma.
