Born in Vinita, Oklahoma April 22, 1920, she went home March 19, 2003. Preceded in death by her parents William P. and Nora Marie (Sarchet) Bridgeman and her brother and sister, she leaves behind many friends, her pastor, Brother Mike and numerous animals she loved and aided. Known locally as 'The Cat Lady', for over 25 years she maintained a nokill shelter for cats in Oklahoma City called' AbideA-While'. In that time, she cared for hundreds of cats and found loving homes for many. She wrote for national Christian publication and spoke on Christian radio. She was an accomplished artist and has a painting of Jackie Kennedy displayed at the Kennedy library. Her remaining cats and dogs live at 'Last Chance for Life' and it was her wish any donations in her name be made to: LAST CHANCE FOR LIFE, P.O. Box 13190, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73113.
