Goodpaster Wagoner (Special) Jesse H. Goodpaster, 90. of Wagoner, died Thursday in the Wagoner Hospital. Funeral services will be held 2:30 pm Friday in the Mallett Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Jim Palmer & Rev. C.J. Stump officiating. Burial will be in the Elmwood Ceme. Grandsons serving as pall bearers include Mike Hays, Frankie Hays, Tommy Sellers, Kent Goodpaster, John Gilmore, and Jimmie Gilmore. Born 26 Feb 1882 in Indian Territory, Goodpaster, a retired farmer, moved to Welch in 1909, later moving to Peggs and moving to Wagoner in 1917. Survivors include three sons- Roy of Wagoner, Raymond of Ft. Smith, Ark, and Wayne of Adrian, Mo; three daughters Mrs. Velma Gilmore and Ethel Hays both of Wagoner, and Mrs. Irene Sellers of Muskogee; a sister Mrs Ruby Webb of Ohio, 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. ========= Wagoner Newspaper: Goodpaster Rites Are Held Friday. Mr. Goodpaster died Wed. in the Wagoner Hospital. Born 26 Feb 1882 in Indian Territory, OK, moved to Welch, OK in 1909 and later to Peggs.
