Born October 20, 1897, in Fort Scott, KS, he had lived in the Welch area most of his life. He was a retired merchant. He owned and operated the Grigsby Hardware Store in Welch, Craig Co, OK, from 1944-1948. He was a member of the Welch Methodist Church. Survivors include his widow, Mrs Marie Grigsby, a son, John Grigsby, Welch, Craig Co, OK; two daughters, Mrs Glee Miller, Winfield, KS and Mrs Janet Benton, Forgan, OK; two stepsons, Mickey Kinder, Miami, Route 2, OK, and Dale Kinder, Vinita, OK; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six step-grandchildren. Arrangements will be announced by Thomas Funeral Home of Welch, Craig Co, OK.
