Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. today in Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors Bell Avenue Chapel, 5400 Bell St. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with Monsignor Francis A. Smyer of the church and the Rev. Paul Gallatin of St. Charles Boremeo Catholic Church in Oklahoma City officiating. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Joeris was born in Abilene. He moved to Amarillo in 1942 from Wichita Falls. He was the owner and operator of Amarillo Novelty Co. before retiring. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Amarillo Senior Citizens Center Square Dancing Club. He married Margaret Gallatin in 1934 at Vinita, Okla. She died in 1985. Survivors include three daughters, Patti Zawadzki and Susan Boykin, both of Littleton, Colo., and Judy Jaterka of Cheyenne, Wyo.; a brother, Louis Joeris of Houston; two sisters, Jerry Seibt of Sanger and Margueritte Dubbs of Pecos; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
