All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Fairview Cemetery--Vinita OK Vinita (Ok) Daily Journal, August 1975 George Lawson George (Tudor) Lawson, 48, passed away Thursday in a Tulsa hospital after a two-year illness. Born Oct 2, 1926 in Vinita, he was employed by the city water department. He was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Lawson of the home 622 N. Gunter St.; two daughters, Mrs. Bobbi Faye Harper, Salina, and Mrs. Linda Melson, Chelsea; hree sons, Joe Lawson, David Lawson and Tom Lawson, all of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Casey Lawson, Vinita; three brothers, Bob Lawson, H. A. Lawson and Kenneth Lawson, all of Vinita; three sisters, Mrs. June Archer, Bartlesville, Mrs. Arlis Griffin, Oologah and Norma McNeely, Vinita and one grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Saturday in the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel with Rev. Charles McBee officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery with arrangements directed by the Luginbuel Funeral Service of Vinita. A memorial fund has been established in Mr. Lawson's name.
