Mills Floyd "Booge" Mills, Jr., 60, Welch, died at 12:20 a.m. today in Bradshaw Memorial Hospital, Miami, after a short illness. Mills was born July 22, 1918 in the Russel Creek district near Welch and has lived in the Welch area all his life. He was married to the former Imogene Haise on Sept. 20, 1914 (a mistake!!/Eddene), in Miami. He was an employee of the Patch Coal Co. for several years and later operated a garage. He was a member of the Welch Chamber of Commerce. He started the Mills Plumbing and Electric Co. and was there until his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Welch and a member of the Craig County Sheriff's patrol and the Welch Civil Defense. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Imogene Mills, of the home; one son, Danny Mills, Tulsa; one daughter, Pamela Taylor, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Bill Mills, Miami, and Bobby Mills, Miami; five sisters, Mrs. Wenona Baker, Garden City, Kan., Mrs. Wauneta Fields, and Mrs. Reva Wolf, both of Miami, Mrs. Dorthy Goodwin, Vinita, and Mrs. Norm Waldron, rural Miami, and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. thursday at the Thomas Funeral Home chapel with the Rev.
