Chaplain David Campbell will officiate. The graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Mrs. Olsen, 67, of Central Point, died Tuesday (Nov. 12, 2002) at St. Joseph Hospital in Bellingham, Wash., while visiting. She was born July 20, 1935, in Centralia, Okla., to Louie Austin and Velma Eveline (Beck) Fair. She graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in Sedro-Woolley, Wash., in 1953, and from Platte College in St. Joseph, Mo. On March 4, 1955, at Whidbey Island Naval Air Station in Washington, she married Charles Keith Olsen, who survives. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1960 from Klamath Falls, and lived here until 1977, when they moved to Junction City. They moved to Central Point in 1981. Mrs. Olsen held various jobs in civil service with the federal government, and later worked as a bookkeeper in Junction City and Central Point. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, traveling and water exercise with her friends, and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Charles D., Portland, and Brian K., Corvallis; a daughter, Roberta L. McClintock, Junction City; a brother, L. Wayne Fair, Hermiston; a sister, Thelma L. Swartos, Blaine, Wash.; and 10 grandchildren.
