T. Pitchford Mrs. Tonibel Pitchford, 83-year-old former Vinita resident, died Saturday morning at Kay Memorial Hospital, Parsons, Kan. She was born Aug. 11, 1897 at Estella. Mrs. Pitchford lived in the Vinita area and graduated from Vinita High School before attending the Northeastern State Teachers College in Tahlequah. She taught school for 13 years in Oklahoma. She was married to Jack W. Pitchford on Aug. 10, 1932 in Butler, Mo. They later moved to Parsons, Kan. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Parsons, Kan., and served as secretary of the church's Philathea Sunday School class. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Grace Spessard, Tulsa, and several nieces and nephews, including Harold Shearhart, Vinita. Services were Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Burris-Carson-Wall Funeral Home, Parsons, kan. Committal services were at 3:45 p.m. Monday in Fairview Cemetery, Vinita, under the direction of the Burris-Carson- Wall Funeral Home, Parsons, Kan.
