Rose, 77 A service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Little Cemetery in Seminole for Phyllis M. Rose, 77, Caddo, who died Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005, at Oakridge Manor Nursing Home. Rev. Dan McLemore will officiate. She was born Wednesday, Aug. 31, 1927, in Vinita to Cecil Wayne and Ruby D. (Harvey) Asbury. She married Al Rose Aug. 12, 1967, in Bonham, Texas. She was a homemaker and an avid gardener and quilt maker. She loved canning vegetables. She was preceded in death by her parents and step-daughter Cathy Rose. She is survived by her husband of the home; sons Allen Lawson, Shawnee, and Monty Lawson, Hinton; step-son Mike Rose, Redoak, Texas; daughter Janice Brinsfield, Spring, Texas; brother Gene Asbury, Houston, Texas; sisters Billie Patterson, Casper, Wyo., Dorothy King, Bixby, and Mary Allen, Little Rock, Ark.; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Little Cemetery. Family hour will be from 6-7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
