Satterwhite James Sanford Satterwhite, 82-year-old Bluejacket resident, was pronounced dead on arrival at a local hospital at 9 p.m. Saturday after a short illness. Born Aug. 5, 1892, in Arkansas, he had lived in Bluejacket six years. He had formerly lived in Dakota, City, Neb., and was a retired commercial fisherman. Surviving are 10 sons, Robert Satterwhite, Dakota city, Neb., Roy Satterwhite, Bluejacket, Ray Satterwhite, Tucson, Ariz., Wilford Satterwhite, Homer, Neb., Milford Satterwhite, South Sioux City, Neb., Lloyd Satterwhite, Pomeroy, Iowa, Jack Satterwhite, Memphis, Tenn., and Kenneth Satterwhite, Larry Satterwhite and Ronnie Satterwhite, all of Sioux City, Iowa; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Mac, Pomeroy, Iowa and Mrs. Judy Link, Nowata; one brother, William Satterwhite, Langley and one sister, Mrs. Lillie Angel, Tulsa. There are also 43 grandchildren surviving, as well as numerous great-grandchildren and great-great- grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Thomas Funeral Home Chapel in Welch, with Rev. Harold Neal officiating.
