Swango, Pioneer Farmer, 67, Succumbs at Welch Funeral services for Jesse L. Swango, pioneer farmer in the Welch vicinity, who died Wednesday night at the Bradshaw hospital in Welch, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Welch Methodist church. Death followed an illness of several weeks' duration. Swango, 67 years old, was seized by a paralytic stroke more than a month agao. Surviving him are seven sons, Tom and J. Steve Swango, both of Picher; John and Oliver Swango of Charleston, Ill.; Eugene Swango of Miami, Route 3, Emmett Swango of Vinita and Albert Swango of Welch Route 1; two sisters, Mrs. Lon Kosh of Landson, Ky., and Mrs. Pearl Murphy of Hendbours, Ill.; 15 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The Rev. J.H. Mott of Picher will officiate at rites.
