Berry TARTAR, of Vinita, died Nov. 9 1973 at a local hospital. He was owner and operator of the Tartar Iron and Metal Works and had lived in Vinita for the past 40 years. Mr. TARTAR, a World War I veteran, was born Jan 29 1899 at Mena, Ark to Elias and Ada TARTAR. He was married to Chloe JOHNSON Dec 3 1934. Survivors include his widow of the home; two brothers, Jack TARTAR, Calif. and George TARTAR, Wagoner, Okla. Two sisters also survive, Mrs. Minnie CONRAD, Wagoner, and Mrs. May HILTON, Calif. Funeral services will be at the Luginbuel Funeral Chapel, Rev. James D. MOSS, pastor of the First Church of God, officiating, and with interment in Fairview Cemetery.
