Note: There are several more places that indicate burials, these more then likely were earlier burials as they are without markers. This was the only cemetery in the "Hosey Settlement", so more than likely the graves that are unmarked were people from the settlement and not related to Hosey, DePriest and Craig families. The headstones that are in the cemetery are all in good condition, some had been knocked over and down off bases with farmers equipment and hay stacks being parked and piled on them. Thanks to a lot of hard work, the remaining children and the grandchildren of Isaac Monroe Craig and Fanny Hosey had the cemetery fenced in 1983/1984 and it is maintained twice a year. Recent history concerning the cemetery: In 1983 my mother, Lula Craig-Bowman, age 85 and my aunt, Dollie Craig- Morlock, age 78 (still living in Prague), stood with me and told me everyone that they could remember being buried in the cemetery. Both my mother & Aunt were in full memory, both of them never forgot anything or dates. The cemetery was being destroyed by a farmer from Tulsa parking equipment and stacks of hay on and around headstones. I had taken my mother back that year (1983) for a Craig family reunion in Bristow and being the crazy person that I am had taken all my research information on our lines with me, wound up selling information to all at reunion so the cemetery could be saved.
