Betty Ann Bowling

Betty Ann “Betty Boop” Bowling, 79, of Sapulpa, Okla., went to be 
with the Lord on Monday, Dec, 4, 2006.

She was born Jan. 25, 1927, in Bingham Canyon, Utah, to parents 
Jennie Mae Rogers and Fredrick William Sorby.

She was preceded in death by her son Duke, and her loving husband 
L.V. Bowling,

Betty is survived by her children, Gary Burge of Indiana, Gloria 
Harrison of Missouri, Terry Crawford of Enid. Leslie Long of Sapulpa, 
Vicki Clark of Missouri, Susie Garrison of Missouri, Tamie Vann of 
Tulsa. Larry Bowling of Sapulpa. Kedrick Bowling of Sapulpa and Bret 
Bowling of Sapulpa.

Betty leaves behind 32 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

Betty worked for 37 years at Bartlett Memorial and Saint Johns 
Hospital in Sapulpa.

The family would like to express our sincere and deepest gratitude to 
Sandy Crall, mother’s dear friend and caretaker through the tough 
times. Thank you Sandy, and we love vou.

Officiating the service will be Rev. Glen Hood. Funeral services will 
be 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Chapel.

Casket bearers will be Bret Bowling, Kedrick Bowling, Larry Long, 
Larry Shawn Bowling, Gary Burge and B.J. Thompson.

Services are under the direction of Smith Funeral Home.
