June 14, 5-8 p.m. Services: Sat. June 15, 10 a.m. Visitation for Charlesetta Bradford will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles St.) on Friday evening June 14, 2002 from 5-8 p.m. and an Hour of Meditation will begin at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the Church of God Evening Light Saints (1802 Virginia Ave.) on Saturday morning June 15, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. and interment will follow at Greenlawn Southwest Cemetery. Charlesetta Bradford daughter of Charles and Ruth Mae Brown was born January 18, 1947 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, moving to California in 1966 where she resided with her uncle Jessie and aunt Nancy Riley and attended Bakersfield College for 1 years. She worked at Memorial Hospital for 28 years until her illness forced her to retire. On August 26, 1967, Charlesetta and Elotis were married and to this union two children were born, Elotis Marvellis and Andrea Monique. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and worshipped with the Church of God Evening Light Saints. Charlesetta was preceded in death by her son, Elotis Marvellis Bradford and her parents. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Elotis Bradford, Jr.; daughter, Andrea Monique; step-son, Elotis Rainier; 2 grandchildren, Shyronique Charlesetta and Jerald Marvellis Hodges; 5 step- grandchildren; 2 sisters, Lillie Dokes and Mazolla Johnson of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; 3 brothers, Thomas John T.J. Patterson of Bakersfield, Willie Tate and Pinkie Lee Brown both of Fort Worth, Texas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
