Berna, 79, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 23, 2007 in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Jim lived in Corcoran for many years and was known by his CB friends as Roho Rooster. He was a retired mechanic. Jim is survived by his wife, Myrtle Berna; two sons, Jim and Tim Berna; four daughters, Diana Wheelock, Pat Sanders, Lavina Shaw and Coleen Ridenour; a brother, Bill Berna; and one sister, Mary Ragsdale; 16 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and five great- great-grandchildren. Jim was a World War II veteran and was proud to serve his country and he served it well. He will be missed by his family and friends, but we know God only picks the most precious roses for his garden. We will miss him, but we will not say good-bye because he will live in our hearts forever. Memorial services were held on March 26, 2007 at Bethel Worship Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and conducted by Rev. Bill Storie, who became a very good friend during Jim's illness.
