All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::NOT LISTED Blair, Paul Edward 1934 - 2005 Paul Edward Blair, 70, died at his home in Fort Worth on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005. Service: All services were held in Sapulpa, Okla. Memorials: Gifts may be made in his memory to the OU Foundation, 100 Timberdell Road, Norman, Okla. 73019. A retired Air Force major, he was a combat veteran who received numerous decorations, including the Distinguished Flying Cross. He accumulated more than 7,000 hours of flying time during his career. Born in Kiefer, Okla., on Dec. 18, 1934, he earned his BA and MA from the University of Oklahoma and remained proud of his affiliation with the university. A cartographer and navigator, he enjoyed reading history and studying maps. Most of all, he loved his family. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Pearl Remley; a brother, Sammy Blair; and his twin sister, Pearl Blair. Survivors: His wife of 48 years, Katherine Blair; daughter, Alice Carter and husband, Mark; son, David Blair and wife, Ann, all of Fort Worth; sister, June Irbin; brother, Robert Blair and wife, Nellie, of Sapulpa, Okla.; son-in-law, Al Remley of Flagstaff, Ariz.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
