Cook Roy V. Cook 88, of Yuba City died June 7, 2004, at Biggs-Gridley Memorial Hospital. Born in Depew, Okla., he was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 33 years. He worked as a water well driver for more than 30 years. He was a former member of Yuba City Moose Lodge No. 1204 and Thursday Nighter's Senior Dance Group. Survivors include his wife, Grace Cook of Yuba City; three daughters, Nina Cowell of `, Marcella Simmons of Yuba City and Betty Barber of San Jose; five sons, William David Cook of Sacramento, Jack Cook of Selma, Walter Perry of Livermore, Charles Perry of Atlanta, Ga., and Rick Perry of Dumphries, Va.; 31 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 11 great- great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Margarite Palmor and Alma Duensing. Donations may be made to St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, Yuba City. Services: A memorial service is scheduled at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church, 1390 Franklin Road, Yuba City, with the Rev. Chris Kersting officiating. Burial will be private.
